Jamelia is back with her sixth single, and what a single it is! "Superstar" is urban sounding enough to be credible amongst R&B fans, while catchy enough to be a hit with the teeny boppers too! Taken from her forthcoming second album "Thank You", Jamelia follows the low charting "Bout" and looks set to do a little better this time, though maybe not by too much. Now a Mother, Jamelia probably doesn't have the time to do the usual promotion, which is likely to be where the track will fail. However, it's had a decent amount of airplay, and should see her safely around for a while yet!

Jamelia. Remember her? You probably know her from the Top 5 single "Money". Now she's back with a track that looks set to repeat that success and blitz the sales of her other lower Top 40 releases. "Superstar" is an upbeat and unusually poppy track from the rising R&B star. It's one of her most commercial releases, and this shows with the amount of airplay it's received. If this doesn't go into the Top 10, it will not have been done justice. And if it does, Jamelia's new album "Thank You" should benefit from it.
