She may not have made it into Girls Aloud, but former Popstars: The Rivals contestant Javine could have the last laugh. Her debut single "Real Things" was a smash hit, and this soulful second single looks set to repeat that success. Borrowing an old Diana Ross track and revamping it for the 21st Century, Javine sounds amazing on "Surrender". The song suits her voice perfectly, and with a catchy chorus, this will no doubt give her a second Top 10 hit.

Sampling Diana Ross's hit "Surrender", Javine does a heck of a job revamping the classic. Another soulful groove with an unmistakable air of cool, this picks up where the last single "Real Things" left off. It's the second single to be taken off Javine's forthcoming album, also entitled "Surrender", and is destined to become a sure-fire hit. How pleased is she at not having made it into Girls Aloud!
