Darude's "Sandstorm" proved that Finland is more than capable of producing great dance music. The debut UK release from the Bomfunk MCs, though absolutely nothing like Darude, simply adds greater credence to that theory. With a much harder edge than your average Euro-dance track, its combined mainstream appeal, dancefloor credibility and hip-hop vibe will ensure it becomes one of this summer's biggest hits.

Already huge in Europe, the Finns are bound to be a hit in the UK as well. This addictive, funky number will work wonders in the clubs, and it's pleasant to listen to as well. Notice the cryptic commercial in the video, in which a kid goes around freezing everyone in the underground with a Sony MiniDisc remote control, while wearing big Sony headphones. Still, it doesn't make the song any worse.
