Benny Benassi presents The Biz
|
Released: 2nd February 2004.
The robotic sound of Benny Benassi returns with a follow up to the dance hit of last summer, "Satisfaction". Like most one-hit-wonder dance acts, it's pretty much a carbon copy of the previous success. "No Matter What You Do" has everything "Satisfaction" had, with its jerky bassline and staccato vocals, so it's probably just as good. Except that it's lost some of its former's charms.
Italian electro-king Benny Benassi returns to the UK dance scene with this, a follow up to last year's phenomenally successful summer anthem "Satisfaction". Despite being a fairly low key release from Data Records, "No Matter What You Do" has proved to be a modest hit in the clubs. Upon first play, it sounds nigh on identical to "Satisfaction", but a sustained listen reveals it to be much darker and moodier that its predecessor. Slightly disappointing, but it will no doubt appeal to fans of the genre.
