Released: 23rd February 2004.
The burning question here is obviously: 'How do you follow up the massive "Superstar?"' Well, Jamelia's album of the same name showcases the enormous talent she has, and nearly any of the songs from it would have continued her success. So it is that "Thank You", the most emotionally-written song I've heard in ages, stands out. One listen to the lyrics hooks you, and one listen to the outstanding production that is spot on throughout the album, and you get a single that should not be overlooked.

Last year, it looked like Jamelia was doomed to be dropped, but she was saved by the massive single "Superstar". The follow up to that song is the title track of her current album "Thank You". Jamelia wrote this song about being abused, so the lyrics are obviously meaningful. The song is completely different to "Superstar", proving that she is no one-trick-pony. "Thank You" looks set to give her another well deserved hit, and confirm her status as one of the UK's biggest hopes for urban music.
