Scissor Sisters
|
Released: 7th June 2004.
After their overwhelming success in the UK this year, the Scissor Sisters re-release "Laura", the song that kicked off their glittering career. The song is a definite highlight on the album, and has all the makings of a classic with its original lyrics and contagious tune. Jake Shears' vocals shine on this song, as they always do. This single criminally flopped when it was first released last year, but this time looks set to be as big as it deserves.

From their self-titled debut album, the Scissor Sisters return with a vastly different song to what they've produced before. It's definitely their most immediately catchy song to date, and the lyrics are hilarious as well - the best usage of the word "chamone" in a long time (take note Avid Merrion).
