Brandy feat. Kanye West

After two years away, Brandy is back with a new look, new single and a new album. She's had a tough two years with her husband leaving her, becoming a single parent and having to look after her daughter. Anyway, the new single "Talk About Our Love" is not an instant grower, but the more you hear it, the better it gets. Kanye West provides the rap and does it well. This is easily my favourite song of the year so far, and should at least make the Top 5.

It's been a little over two years since Brandy's last single "Full Moon", but don't think those two years were a waste of time. Brandy got married, delivered a baby, made an MTV reality show around all that, and finally got a divorce. Oh yeah, she also put together a brand new album, "Afrodisiac", from which this is the first single. Produced by rapper/producer Kanye West, who also features in the song, this is a nice, slick tune that will get Brandy back in the charts where she belongs. It's not her best work, and definitely not the best song on the album, but it's still a good effort. Definitely deserves to be in the Top 10.
