Angel City feat. Lara McAllen

As with many dance tunes, Angel City's "Touch Me" sounds suspiciously similar to their previous hit "Love Me Right". It uses practically the same intro, the same singer and of course the same producers. Still, "Touch Me" has a uniqueness about it that differs from "Love Me Right" and makes it another brilliant track from Angel City.

Despite missing the Top 10, "Love Me Right" was a huge hit, so Angel City and Lara McAllen are hoping to repeat that success with another cover. Fortunately not Samantha Fox's "Touch Me", this is a cover of the track best known as Cathy Dennis' debut solo single. This could have turned out really well, but somehow it seems to be missing something. Since Cathy's version was a dance/pop number, much of the backing has remained, but vocally, this version is a bit of a disappointment. OK, some effort was made in altering the lyrics, but otherwise it doesn't seem like there was much effort in it overall.
