Destiny's Child - Lose My BreathAfter the massive solo successes of Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle, both in music and on cinema, it looked like it would be impossible for Destiny's Child to get back together again. So everyone was surprised when they revealed details of a new album and a new single. "Lose My Breath" is an uptempo R&B track with a strong beat, much like "Independent Women", and with powerful vocals from the girls. It's the sort of music they were making before they decided to pause their joint career. Although some might dislike their comeback single, "Lose My Breath" is undeniably a high quality piece of music, and a very welcome one.

At last, it's here! We've been waiting for three whole years... and then this comes along. Quite honestly, this is the worst song that Destiny's Child have ever released. So, just what's wrong with it? Well, for a start, it has absolutely no tune whatsoever. OK, but what about the next ingredient of a good song? What about the lyrics? Well, I dread to count how many times the title is repeated in the song - there's practically no more lyrics to the thing at all. So, with no tune and few lyrics, what does it have? A beat? Well, maybe, but that's hardly enough to save it.
