Blue - Curtain FallsWell it's obviously Blue's last single, although no one at their camp is willing to admit to it. Either way I think it's a good song from a boy band that quite frankly wasn't all that bad as far as boy bands go. It might even be a shame to lose them actually, but this last song, which samples Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise" (also used in Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise"), is a great send off.

I thought there had been enough sampling of Stevie Wonder's excellent "Pastime Paradise" before. Anyhow, Blue have decided to freshen up one of their traditionally rather soulless and uninspired tracks with the soul legend's zest, from whose musical standard they are further away than ever. That's what I call tedious. The girlies of the world would breed a thunderstorm of crocodile tears, but everyone else is waiting impatiently for the moment when the final curtain eventually falls.
