Bon Jovi

Released: 4th September 2000.
It was all hair, leather, and rock/pop for eighties supergroup Bon Jovi, who followed their success in the nineties with a series of individual projects. Now, they return with a new band project that's already firing on all cylinders.
The first single from the set has been instantly rewarded with high exposure, "It's My Life" not detouring too much from the group's stadium rock sound. It might be ten or so years later, but some things don't change. A bit of drum programming here and there, a few tricky studio effects and Jon Bon Jovi is stretching his vocal chords, and it's like they never went away.
I'd say there is not one bad song on the album, however as a whole the record is all good, not great. This latest offering should appeal to their existing, and now-aging audience, and should even pick up others wanting the Bon Jovi experience!
