Louise

Released: 23rd December 2002.
EMI have decided to release a new Louise album entitled "Finest Moments". Seems like quite a strange idea considering a greatest hits package was only released last September. However, it's not technically a greatest hits album, as it includes highlights from Louise's first three albums - a mixture of album tracks and singles.
Anyone who likes Louise will be familiar with the singles on this album: "Naked", "One Kiss From Heaven", "Arms Around The World", "All That Matters", "2 Faced" and the funky "Beautiful Inside".
In the way of album tracks, there are a mixture of great ballads ("I'll Fly Away", "I Pray", "Woman In Me"), and upbeat pop tracks ("In Our Room", "For Your Eyes Only", "That's The Way I Like It"). A lot of the material sounds slightly dated, yet somehow that seems to make it that little bit more enjoyable!
Overall, the album seems to have had more thought put into it than "Changing Faces - The Best Of Louise". With a healthy 18 tracks, including two remixes and a greatest hits medley, this is an essential purchase for any major Louise fan - or indeed someone who doesn't own her previous three albums. Good stuff!
