Released: 28th April 2003.

David Sneddon - Seven Years - Ten WeeksSince David won Fame Academy late last year, he has received nothing but bad press. Despite this, his debut single, "Stop Living The Lie", stormed to No. 1 despite it being savagely mocked by the media.

David has written and recorded his debut album in just under four months. Is it a rush job or is it a good effort?

I was expecting the album to be full of ballads like the two singles, but I was wrong. The album is eclectic. It has several rocky pop songs, similar to Robbie Williams' material. Sneddon recorded the album with Elton John's band, and you can see how influential they have been. Even the debut single, "Stop Living The Lie" has been re-recorded to give it a harder rock sound.

The best song on the album is the rocky "Follow me", despite having some of the worst lyrics ever seen! Current single, "Don't Let Go", comes a close second, while ballad "Time To Fall Down" is another hit in the making.

The only word to sum up this album is >fantastic. David has done an excellent job in writing and recording a great debut and judging by "Seven Years - Ten Weeks" he could last a lot longer than originally predicted.
