Released: 5th January 2004.
With most of the tracks edging toward the 7 or 8 minute mark, you might start to wonder whether listening to this album would be an enjoyable experience at all.
"Fibre" is an Indie/Dance flavoured track with a catchy riff throughout. The next couple of tracks continue the Dance trend, alas without vocal, which means the much needed substance is missing, but this is soon solved on the fourth track, "Fundamental", which is a Drum'N'Bass number, and also the shortest track on the album, proving it could be a potential single.
After a few lenghty "going nowhere" type of numbers, Airbiscuit manage to reedeem themselves at the end of the "Caldo" disc with the most commercial track on the CD, "Still". Similarly, "Lately" combines a heavy bassline with a brilliant vocal, providing the catchiest track throughout both CDs.
You could easily lose yourself in some of the vocal tracks, as they manage to divert your attention from what would be a boring instrumental. Shame there are so few of them on "Caldo Freddo".
