Released: 4th December 2000.
After the rather average single "Lucky", "Stronger" is a great choice for the third single from Britney's "Oops... I Did It Again" album. More danceable and appealing, it also has a more catchy chorus. However there's a lot of competition this week, and a Top 5 entry rather than Top 3 will be more likely.
Anyone notice a pattern here? Compare "Baby One More Time" and "Oops I Did It Again", compare "Sometimes" and "Lucky", and yes... "Stronger" is very similar to "You Drive Me Crazy" - a really uptempo track with immaculate production and perfectly crafted - but not really my style.
