Kelly Osbourne
|
Released: 9th May 2005.
Kelly returns from rehabilitation with a new style which has shocked many on first listen. Electro-pop is her new venture, and the song personifies the whole genre with its catchy and eerie tune. The lyrics are haunting and the video is mysterious, adding a sense of unease to the song. Her renowned pout is visible throughout as well! Already a hit on the music TV channels, the impact this makes on the chart could prove interesting. A personal favourite of mine at the moment, hopefully it will do well for her.
Taking a slightly more poppy direction for her new album, Kelly Osbourne returns with this catchy new single. Despite sounding criminally similar to "Fade To Grey" by Visage, this watered down, electro-clash number provides Kelly with her best single to date. As her suitably modest vocal drifts over the synth-pop music, you can't help but like this record - even though you know you shouldn't. It's not Goldfrapp, but then again, what is?
