Coldplay's first material for two years shows just how unique and irreplaceable Chris Martin and co. have become. "Speed of Sound" is not too dissimilar to their previous material, but is so richly distinctive and so absolute that it sounds just as incredible as everything else they have done so far.

Following their previously huge albums "Parachutes" and "A Rush Of Blood To The Head", Coldplay return with their new album "X&Y", and with it, this new single. "Speed Of Sound" is really nothing new from them, but at the same time, there's something about it that just sounds right - if a little similar to their previous work.
