After the phenomenal success of "Lonely", Akon releases this incredibly catchy single from his "Trouble" album. He's already managed to establish himself in the UK with his very different musical style. The chorus may be a little repetitive, but "Belly Dancer (Bananza)" is an upbeat track that's far from forgettable. There's absolutely no doubt that Akon will have another hit on his hands as he has yet again produced a chart smash. I'd expect to see this single hit the Top 5 at least.

Following up the unimpressive "Locked Up" and "Lonely", Akon comes up with an energetic third single that I must admit I'm feeling a bit guilty liking. "Belly Dancer (Bananza)" flows brilliantly, complementing his very distinctive rapping style, but at the same time, it's very cheesy and disposable.
