Watch out Kelly Clarkson! The first single to be released from "I Am Me" is this instantly catchy rock/pop tune that will leave you in an Ashlee-style staggered headbang. It may be difficult to translate the slurred chorus (although rumour has it the lyrics are aimed towards a certain stick-thin socialite), but the vocals are underlined with a feisty guitar riff and rock beat. It's the distorted reflection of "La La" for the better, and should give Ashlee her biggest single in the UK to date, winning her some new fans.

Single number three from Ashlee Simpson now, but can she have a lasting career? Well, this song has been well received, but I can't really work out why. The song lacks much in the way of spark, and Ashlee's yelp on it really doesn't resemble anything vaguely tuneful. It's a rather slim year for decent music so far, and this song doesn't go anywhere towards helping.
