Back with his 12th studio album, LL Cool J has brought Jennifer Lopez in to appear on lead single "Control Myself", returning the favour for her hit "All I Have". It's incredible to think when watching this video that this pair are rapidly approaching 40, yet both are still looking the hottest in the business. It's a shame the same can't be said for their music, however. This is a lukewarm, uninspiring effort, with clichéd lyrics and a boring chorus. Jennifer doesn't have the strongest of voices and LL can't compete in 2006 with the likes of Ludacris and Will.I.Am. Perhaps it's time for both to quit while they're ahead.

"Control Myself" marks the second duet between LL Cool J and J-Lo in three years. Unlike the listenable "All I Have", "Control Myself" attempts to be as cool, stylish and modern as possible with its frenzied production, which loses the vocals and the meaning of the song.
