The original "Greatest Hits" by Thomas Jones Woodward was released in 2003, but anyone who's missed out on it now gets a second chance.
The album has been updated for 2006, subtitled "The Platinum Edition", and with a tracklist of already 23 songs, this inevitably meant that some had to disappear. And so, three of the less known tracks ("Without Love", "Detroit City" and "Situation") have gone to make way for three others - the classic "She's A Lady" which should not have been missing from the old edition anyway, the duet with Catatonia's singer Cerys Matthews "Baby It's Cold Outside", and the track that brought both Tom and DJ/producer Chicane back in the public eye in 2006 - the Top 10 hit "Stoned In Love".
All the rest is here and correct, from classics like "It's Not Unusual", "Help Yourself", "Delilah" and of course "Green Green Grass Of Home", via the great James Bond theme "Thunderball" to the anthemic "Sex Bomb", a collaboration with Mousse T, and the Prince cover "Kiss" which Tom did with Art Of Noise.
With "Stoned In Love" tacked neatly at the end, this is the ultimate overview of The Voice's amazing track record.
