Franz Ferdinand - Eleanor Put Your Boots OnThe fourth single from their latest album shows just why Franz Ferdinand became such a credible act when they first came out with "Take Me Out". This track sounds so unique compared to everything around at the moment, and vocalist Alex Kapranos almost sounds like an old Paul McCartney through this quirky little track. Second albums are always do or die, and Franz Ferdinand have proved that they are here to stay with four great releases from "You Could Have It So Much Better...".

Scottish mascots Franz Ferdinand release the fourth single from their second album "You Could Have It So Much Better..." in the form of "Eleanor Put Your Boots On". A song likened to The Beatles, it's a step in a new direction for the band. Whilst their jerky, indie-pop sound has proved popular for over a year now, they've stepped out of the comfort zone with the final release from their album, jazzing it up a bit with a banjo. Hopefully it will prove popular amongst a sea of tired Franz fans - evident from the last single's lacklustre response. This track should put them back up where they were in 2005.
