      15 Stupid Love

It stayed in Top 15 all week. (Watch it end at #16 tomorrow...).

By the way, Simon predicts it will fall to #26 in Hot 100.
If he’s right, much better than I expected considering the Spotify positions these last days.

This would make it her second worst performing lead single ever (after “Perfect Illusion”) right?

Which is a good sign considering it’s the streaming era and her actually getting better with this era is cool.

Also the song has been out for two weeks only which is an extremely short time to look at nowadays.

Not gonna lie, I wish it was more stable, but let’s see what happens next.

So it would have been Top 5 for sure in Hungary even with a sales/streaming combined chart.

Only 13 days of release and you want to draw conclusions? I hope you'll be here in the next few weeks if radio continues to support the single.

Honestly I don’t see this having that much longevity or rebounding.

She should hurry up with the second single in a few weeks.

                    • To be honest, although Mr.Leonix intentions are crystal clear, I don't think this is gonna have much longevity.

As I said as soon as it was released, although it's an easy pop song… it's not a song for everybody.

Radios are supporting it right now… but we should be cautious as they could drop it in a few weeks.

But at the end of the day, it's been Top 5 and probably will end up being Platinum in US... which not everybody can have 12 years into their career. And top 10 in other big markets like UK, Australia and Canada. So I couldn't care less if it only stays 6 or 8 weeks on chart.

She's 34 now and coming from the pre-streaming era, so the fact that she's still having Top 5s and, let's dream, even the possibility of a new #1 if the next single is in fact with Ariana... is simply amazing. How many of her female peers from late 00s are not even charting at all in Hot 100 right now?

Also, even if she's no Ariana or Billie Ellish, her streaming numbers have increased A LOT compared to what she used to do pre-ASIB.

I'm more interested in album sales at this point of her career.
But new Top 10 and certified singles are always welcomed, of course.

I suppose it depends on whether she will release another single before the albums release

Exactly. If the rumors are true and the second single features Ariana, I think the main attention will be on that one. Will depend if it may boost "Stupid Love" as well.

That's good if you're banking on the radio support to keep the song afloat in the long run. But M5 didn't release another single since Memories and we already have a confirmation Gaga is releasing collaboration with Ariana at the end of the month. Radios hardly ever support two songs from the same artist at the same time (not impossible, but still doesn't happen often). So either they will drop Stupid Love and play the new song that will take over, or the next single will be a non event on the radios, because streaming won't hold Stupid Love it seems.
