She's front-loaded in most markets these days and sadly she doesn't have the promo spots she had with Dancing in the UK so it's very unlikely this will go top 40.

Hopefully by single two she has a chance to do a few TV performances!

I would have expected her to pull some virtual promo or a live performance on Instagram at least, UK went back to normal without social distancing isn’t? Are they going back to shoot morning/night shows?

Oh well, at least is doing better than what NYC did.

The fact it’s not smashing on iTunes isn’t really a reflection of how it will do in the charts in the long run. She can still have a major hit with “Say Something” without ever returning to iTunes Global Top 1000 Songs.

She’s not a singles artist anymore and she hasn’t been able to do her usual promo tour. Usually she’d be on every chat show and have a prime time performance slot on TV.

Not on the first week of release tho.
It took her a month to finally perform Dancing anywhere, and then she did not perform it for some time!
She just wont play every card right at the front, especially with the album not coming anytime soon.
Radios are starting to play the song, it’s doing great on airplay in Australia. It just takes time, especially for a veteran like her.

Listeners are just the number of people who listened to you in the past 28 days at least 1 time. So of course its going to grow when she has a new song out because im sure theres people who havent listened to one of her songs in over 28 days/heard the song on a playlist.
Streaming growth is more important to look at brcause that represents the growth in listeners that are actually coming and staying. Right now she needs that promo and video because airplay doesnt seem to be working.

I was hoping for Top 75, but well, at least it made the official Top 100. Which is an achievement for veteran acts in the streaming era.

With a physical (limited) release and some TV performance, it would have been Top 40.
