Those numbers actually paint a troubling picture for Kylie when it comes to streaming. She added 500k new listeners which probably means those new ones were interested in hearing Say Something. Even if each of them played the song just twice that's already 1m streams which is more than half of streams SS has by now. That means that most of her listeners are passive ones interested in what they have in their own playlists or whatever songs she has on playlists they are subscribed to and don't actually seek for new Kylie music, which is a shame.

Streaming growth is more important to look at brcause that represents the growth in listeners that are actually coming and staying. Right now she needs that promo and video because airplay doesnt seem to be working.

She’s not a singles artist anymore and she hasn’t been able to do her usual promo tour. Usually she’d be on every chat show and have a prime time performance slot on TV.

Not on the first week of release tho.
It took her a month to finally perform Dancing anywhere, and then she did not perform it for some time!
She just wont play every card right at the front, especially with the album not coming anytime soon.
Radios are starting to play the song, it’s doing great on airplay in Australia. It just takes time, especially for a veteran like her.
