And Red TV is not done yet. There remains an upcoming shipment of CDs and another shipment of vinyl. If strategically managed, the album could potentially dethrone '30', considering numbers for the number one album are already below 100,000 units weekly. By shipping 40,000 physical units every week (rather than 160,000 units at once), Red TV can easily snatch another 3-5 weeks at no. 1.

Its international performance is also solid, and it's going to return to the top twenty in several European countries over the next few weeks, such as the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. In comparison, Fearless TV was already out of the top 100 in those regions by its second month.

Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales. The chart’s history dates back to May 25, 1991, the first week Billboard began tabulating charts with electronically monitored piece count information from SoundScan, now MRC Data. Pure album sales were the sole measurement utilized by the Billboard 200 albums chart through the list dated Dec. 6, 2014, after which that chart switched to a methodology that blends album sales with track equivalent album units and streaming equivalent album units. Taylor Swift’s former No. 1 Red (Taylor’s Version) is a non-mover at No. 2 with 21,000 sold (down 56%)
