^Yes, but saying that she is the tenth female singer with most gold eligible and the seventeenth with platinum eligible singles means that someone lost their time tracking any female singer’s SPS and eligibility. I’d be curious to see this list as well!

Papa Don't Preach streams on Spotify look chaotic since they merged 2 versions.

Obviously I'm happy they did so, I wish they would merge also Material Girl, Like a Prayer, Holiday, Into the Groove... but when it's about to decide if it does more or less streamings than other songs, it's complicated.

oddly PDP does better than Vogue on spotify even if vogue has better playlisting, i guess PDP has biggest fanbase and streams it more maybe old rock fans prefer it more than vogue

Excuse me I don’t know what u re talking about, but whenever I go check daily or weekly stats, I see Vogue constantly doing better than PDP on Spotify.

I think Madonna and her team should stop ignoring her more adult contemporary/soft-rock-oriented material (Papa don't preach, Cherish, I'll remember, You'll see, True Blue, Live to tell, Crazy for You, Take a now). FEL was the perfect vehicle to celebrate her Dance pop career but that's not all what Madonna is about. Those songs can be more appreciated by soccer moms/older straight men who grew up listening to her in the 80s, 90s and 00s who otherwise would not want to listen to songs like Vogue por Hung Up for being considered too poppy, too "gay", too "dance" or simply too "controversial". There is nothing wrong with being a gay icon like her but there is nothing wrong with promoting songs that would erasily have a wider appeal to them. The day she stops paying dust to most of her older hits, she will be a streaming force. The demand is there. La isla bonita and Like a prayer , which are more midtempo, less dancy, are some of her most streamed songs in all platforms.

I mean Vogue is literally based off gay culture. It is not surprising if PDP has a bigger reach then just gays/women. I think it also has to do with True Blue being a classic album and people naturally listening to that over Im Breathless, an obscure soundtrack/themed album.
