SoundScan changed the totals for unknown reasons.

I'll try to find out more. This is a horribly busy time for me right now.

All these sales are through the 5/26/18 Billboard charts.

So they simply decided to strip Madonna of whole 2m copies sold. I don't buy it. That's not one person counting sales, sales are scanned and officialy sold. So i don't believe this source anymore.

I already had my doubts when it comes to those numbers since some streaming numbers were unreal for Janet.

TIC was at 5.054 M in 2004. As it has been mentioned it should be close to 6M now as the last figure we got was close to 5,9 some years back.
A bit strange that it's almost the same number but missing a million.
So almost 2M went into thin air?
