              • Madonna is the Female Artist with the most #1 singles on the Top 10 Biggest European Markets! (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, etc)
21 number 1 songs in Italy and 15 in Spain more than twice the 2nd place (Shakira in both countries)... THAT'S INSANE!

                  • That's terrific but I have to say I'm a bit surprised at how few #1s she's had in France and Germany.

                    • This can easily be explained. In the eighties it was only local acts which were number one for a long time. Word to mouth singles... Nothing to be compared with the heavily hyped singles of the 00s. That was for France...

It's true... But Queen Madge has 7 Number 2 singles!!
Now France is one of her weakest markets... Her last Top 20 hit was in 2012 (Girl Gone Wild #13), and her last Top 40 was Ghostown (#34)
At least 8 tracks from "Rebel Heart" made the TOP 100

Even though Germany is one of her loyal markets with a solid albums sales career, for some reason her singles career there was never as huge as it was in other markest like UK, Can, US, Australia, etc. Already late into her career "American Pie" was barely and shockingly her second #1 hit ever in Germany, her 90s decade there while huge in album sales was her weakest in terms of singles with only 6 top 10 hits in Germany out of 29 singles released in the 90s decade.

Despite the fact her singles stats weren't as massive in Germany as in other markets, Madonna may still be the female artist with most top 10 hits ever in that country, so even in her personal weaker singles markets she's still on top and ahead of everyone, thats how powerful she is.

This is partly due to the unavailability of the physical copies since Warner Music Philippines decided to pull-out all Warner Music CDs ( Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park, Josh Groban, etc) from all record outlets :@

                                                • She did occupy the top 2 positions with those songs, not sure exact date but it was 1985 and Madonna fever was taking the UK by storm, about this time she also had Crazy for you in the top 15! Great times!
