It’s weird how LAV Outstreamed true blue , true blue is her best selling and most global as most streams are Global , will true blue overtake LAV eventually

I also believe "True Blue" will overcome "Like a Virgin" later on (unless Warner marketing does something so that won't happen).

It's not that strange that Like a Virgin is doing better so far for 2 reasons:

- "Like a Virgin" (album) did better in US and US was the first big market where streaming start increasing and replacing digital sales.
- "Material Girl" was on Strangest Things that made this song rise A LOT (and also Angel had a few stream increases as was also featured on the serie but less time and so had less stream increases).


True Blue is the only album having 5 Madonna songs among the TOP 30 most streamed (so the changes for it to pick up on streams are bigger).

All the other countries have streaming increasing and despite US still have a bigger streaming market share comparing it's now lower every year so I believe that "True Blue" organic grow will make it gain a bigger gap on weekly streams over "Like a Virgin" (unless something happens to change that).

"Crazy For You" have around 380k per week (388k last week)
"Medellin" was huge when released but then decreased and stopped at around 100k per week
Both "Sorry" and "Music" have around 220k/250k per week

"Borderline" have 40M and "Ray of Light" 46 million and both average 175k per week now

"Into The Groove" is at 80M with around 410k per week
"Papa Don't Preach" at 81M with around 440k per week

So if more songs were averaging around 300k per week for a long time she would probably have songs that would be at 68M or 70M.

Maybe she will with the song they will promote after "Frozen" (whatever that is).
