Being a new remix from the original albums means that this can be released on an album later by Warner Records.
Madonna could be releasing a kind of "Colaboration" remixes project with Warner. That way even all recordings released by Universal would be off the hook if new unreleased remixes would be used. She does have almost enough songs for them to be out and a few hits would also be there. Not sure if they could release all the songs (as some are also previous released by other labels too and other artist have contracts with different labels) but:

Not sure if they would want "Give It 2 Me" to be considered as on YouTube the video says feat. Pharrell Williams but both album track and single are only credited to Madonna.
Did I forgot any Madonna collaboration so far? Let me know if I did.
They have already many to choose from - they could even include one or two new songs on this collaboration project (with some of the most important streaming artists of the moment) or a collaboration remix from one of Madonna previous biggest hits - who knows? This is a kind of GH/Remix project that could much probably get both sales and streams (if tracks are carefully choosen). Artists like Drake and Kanye west always have over 20 tracks (sometimes even over 30 tracks) in their albums and that also helps their streaming numbers a lot as everyone that listens to the album once counts like 2 or 3 times as every 10 tracks counts as 1 album total stream in almost every world country. Usually collaboration tracks are the ones with more streams if collaborations are with some of the most important streaming artists of the momment (like Drake, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, etc) but that is not a 100% hit garantee.
I'm sure Warner Records have no interest at all in promote "Madame X" album right now as all the profit from those albums will go to Universal until 2025 so they want Madonna to move on to a new project as fast as possible.

It was not so little difference actually... 523 points... "25" was up 1445 points and Madonna down -1209 points (but isn't a huge difference either).
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are just 731 points behind Madonna (dropped just -184 points).
Curious to see what will happen today on the chart. Madonna album may have a huge fall today... or just fall to #03 since the album that is at #04 now is over 4.000 points behind Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett.Leave a comment:

I hope they do represent more than 7-8k worldwide sales (possibly over 15k world sales). Mediatraffic last week #10 had 56k equivalent sales so I'm pretty sure this album will fail to chart on mediatraffic TOP 10 (and that's all they show now).Originally posted by Fajitas View Post

Streaming weights a lot more on charts today than before so I'm not sure if the physical release will chart that easily this time around. It's falling everywhere on iTunes now:It will probably not be #01 on European iTunes today.
But I'm still happy it was abble to be on Top for so long - was never expecting 4 days at #01 on European iTunes Albums Chart.
Not releasing the physical version on the same week probably killed the chance for it to chart in most world countries but also probably increased iTunes sales a bit too. A January or February physical release on CD and Vinyl would probably sell enough to chart as it's usually a slower season if kids are at school during the day and grown ups aren't buying many other albums also (the first and second week of January are usually slower of new releases and sales - also Christmas songs are already falling down on streams also and being replaced by regular songs meaning that she would probably have a bigger chance to chart during one of those weeks - her hardcore fans buy the album no matter when it's release and most of other people won't buy a live album by Madonna).Last edited by MadNuno; Tue October 12, 2021, 15:30.Leave a comment:

I know it's just a few dozens sales but I'm surprised the album is still #1 on iTunes in countries like France, Brazil, Mexico and Italy. Surprised it's still top 10 in the UK too. I must admit I thought it would be out of the top 10 by its second day in most countries but I'm glad I was wrong.
