Wow, this may actually be her 2nd most listened to song this week.

Sorry, but Santa Baby is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Also, if she got better playlisting, the song would have more streams.

I thought it was too late it upload it - and it kind of was tbh - but it's still doing really nice and stable numbers. She should upload the dark video she made for it a few weeks ago. It could boost it!
Anyway, it's certainly not her fans listening to it, so it's great for her listeners!

The increase for those albums are really low. It may take a few decades for "American Life" to reach Platinum (unless an album track is promoted later on for whatever reason).

Maybe the song get decent airplay support, but I guess it got lost among the hundreds of other Xmas tunes and I bet that a big part of those who is listening to it they don’t even recognize it’s Madonna singing, lol

    Thanks!
That's great! I really hope Warner does that next year! Media would certainly make a big thing about it and that would give some more hype to Madonna and some of her songs!

La Isla Bonita sold 2,700 units in a recent chart week. It's up to 926,000. About 26 weeks until it scans 1 million.
That's great news! This probably means another 2 Platinum songs updade in 2022!

Do we know how many singles could be updated by Warner before Christmas 2022 if they decide to go ahead with it?
It seems that Gold, Platinum and Multi-platinum we are talking about over 20 new certifications?

Yep, the numbers are as follows:

1 million - regular physical single
500,000 - video single as confirmed by Billboard Magazine in their July 25th, 1992 issue
226,000 - SPS (download & streaming) numbers from thebigham

    Total: 1,726,000 estimated consumption units

    More updates:

Hung Up sold 2,300 units in a recent chart week. It's up to 1,926,000. About 31 weeks until it scans 1 million.

Billy Joel recently re-certified his 70s/80s catalog.

I think now that the RIAA allows labels to certify Gold singles (that were for 1 million copies) Platinum with just a $350 fee. SPS units do not have to be used.

    LAV is eligible for 2/3xP.

    CFY is eligible for 2xP.

    A/ITG is eligible for Platinum.

*If* WBR ever does single re-certifications...
