Madonna's COADF versus Mariah's EOM--COADF outsold the latter but the latter sold almost all of its copies in America whereas it was the opposite story with Confessions. Confessions sold like 1 million here and 8 million elsehwere.

These are some shockingly bad numbers for Madonna from the states no matter how some of you dress it up.

But Madonna beat Mariah in Japan (where Mariah is the most successful foreign female artist).
A good sign is that Madonna is rising on Spotify as well lately, Just an example, in the last 7 days Mariah has lost almost 17.000 listeners while Madonna had an increase of 145.000 new listeners.

Here always the discusion is the charts:
Airplay, singles, album sales, etc. But here never mention the tours.
U know than Madonna is the artist with most impact in music history?
Madonna had a boxscore in tours of 1.5 B dollars with 11 tours?
The charts are always manipulated by a lot artist in special in Sony music with singles discounts to 0.49 cents of dollar and payola according to The New York Times.
The real impact here is the tours. Not the charts.
In future im gonna share a lot information of tours and the artist with more impact with them.
Im read this forum since a long time ago and im like it.
The Sony tattics never worked in Europe as there was always a low price limit to chart and airplay is not part of the charts - only sales.
Now streaming may be having a kind of payola as over 80% of streams come from playlists and it's said that some labels pay for songs to be on those playlists.
Eitherway Madonna was and still is way ahead of anyone else on Global charts being a bigger hitmaker than Elvis Presley, The Beatles or Michael Jackson.
