A Frozen remix has been used on tiktok which might be the reason why its gaining. Also Crave has been used in multiple twitter posts recently. I wonder if its grown at all.

I don't know about Spotify but it improved a little bit on YouTube, evolving from 1.2k/day to 1.5k!

I Want You definitely benefitted from the Gucci commercial too. On Monday 6 it got 1.9k views but once week later (4 days after the commercial premiered) it increased to 2.5k!

Even if it's not a lot, it's nice to see her more unknown songs getting new exposure!

So annoying that it won't really help her streams though. I'm still waiting for one of her songs to explode thanks to TikTok. It would have been nice to at least see her name there. Anyway, better than nothing!

And yes, that was the Warner Music internal info I had back then in 97 or 98 (can't recall in what year it was) - but keep in mind when returns happen RIAA take them into account also. Not sure how they do it now as they used to count shippments.

"True Blue" was certified 7xPlatinum in US back in February 1995 already. I'm sure that with streaming and digital sales this album is already ready for a 9th Platinum in US now.

In 2001 they released a remaster version (with a US initial production of 400k units for each of the 3 remastered albums made by Warner Music) and streaming for some of "True Blue" songs have been good (comparing to streaming for most of her albums).

I believe that probably this new digital anniversary edition (and probably nex year or so physcal release of it) is happening because they are trying to push it to get a 3rd Diamond album for Madonna in US. I'm pretty sure that she will get there soon if they just put a little effort on it.

We all know Madonna is pretty much undercertified right now.

"Like a Prayer" album got a 4th Platinum in 1997 already. For sure it decerves a 5th Platinum (or maybe even 6th Platinum if they do release an anniversary version)

"Madonna" album was last certified in 2000 (before the remaster was released) so it certainly have a 6th Platinum waiting for it.

"Like a Virgin" was certified latest in May '98 so also before the remaster release. Madonna still sold many catalog albums during the 00's decade.
At least 11 Platinum is in order for sure (but much more probably is 12 platinums already as streaming and digital sales were quite kind to this album too).

"I'm Breathless" was last certified in May 1990 with 2xPlatinum. It still sold a few copies until TIC was released but then I'm sure sales were much lower (but still certainly kept selling something every week). With all "Vogue" streaming and digital sales (and also those few vinyl's limited editions they have been releasing along the way) it must be ready to get a 3rd Platinum 32 years later. I don't believe it have sales enough for more than that.

"The Immaculate Collection" was certified 10xPlatinum in October 2001. Since it sold over 2.5 million according to Nielsen numbers from 2017 or 2018 it will be upgraded. Not sure how the streaming and digital track equivalent work for this album but wouldn't be surprise to be upgraded to 13x platinum awards.

"Erotica" doesn't get much streaming or catalog sales. Still got it's last certification award from RIAA in early Janurary 1993 so it's quite possible that it have enough units for a 3rd Platinum Award.

"Bedtime Stories" got a 3rd Platinum Award in November 2005. It's not a great catalog seller and tracks from it don't get that much streaming. Even that "Justice for Bedtime Stories" got it to sell around 2.5k units that week (according to Billboard). It may get a 4th Platinum Award soon but I won't bet my money on this one.

"Something To Remember" got a 3rd Platinum Award in October 2000. It may get a 4th Platinum soon as this was already 21 years ago but I honestly have no idea how this have been doing in US as a catalog seller. Probbaly it have 7 tracks with streaming counting for it (not so sure if they are using them for other albums).

"Evita" got a 5xPlatinum based on double disc in March 1999. I don't think this is a big catalog seller for recent years. Also streaming for this album songs ain't that big. It may get a 6th Platinum based on the fact that is a double album (not sure how rules are right now) as it only needs 500k sales to do that.

"Ray of Light" got a 4xPlatinum certification in March 2000. It certainly have enough sales for a 5th Platinum. As streaming isn't that high I don't believe it will get more than that.

"Music" was last certified with 3xPlatinum in November 2005. I don't have much info about it and streaming for this album songs ain't that great. Not sure if it can get a 4xPlatinum anytime soon but it's quite possible (but I wouldn't put my money on this horse). Maybe a re-master or anniversary version of this album may get it there.

"GHV2" was certified Platinum in December 2001. Did it sold enough to get a 2xPlatinum before "Celebration" was released? Not sure. It may be close to 2xPlatinum but this album catalog sales right now are probably under 100 units per week. Never understood why they never released a special edition with 2 or 3 mega-mix versions (that were used to promote it and even had a video) as this would help the album to sell. Even if it's just a digital version with those megamixes added to streaming platforms would certainly do a little more for it. This said I'm not sure this will get another platinum soon or no as I have no info on this one.

"American Life" was certified Platinum in July 2003. The album or songs aren't getting much streaming but if "Die Another Day" streams and digital are counting for it then it may have a change for a 2xPlatinum soon.

"Confessions On a Dancefloor" was certified Platinum in December 2005 so it certainly already have enough units to get a 2xPlatinum as the album still sold quite well during the 00's (and also especially since "Hung Up" is also a great digital track seller and streaming hit).

"Hard Candy" was certified gold in June 2008. This album certainly already have enough units for a Platinum Award since it certainly have a few catalog sales and "4 Minutes" track equivalents and streams are quite good (and "Give It 2 Me" despite not being great ain't bad either).

"Celebration" became a good catalog seller and was certified gold in November 2009 so it really already have what it needs to be Platinum

Both "Who's That Girl" and "You Can Dance" despite not getting new awards since 1987 and 1988 are probably still far from getting a new platinum award as are very low catalog sellers and streaming for these albums ain't much either.

Her latest albums will only be part of Warner Catalog in 2025. I'm sure "MDNA" will get the deserving Platinum Award by then and "Rebel Heart" will be at least gold. Not sure about "Madame X" as sales units in US must still be under 200k/250k at best. Hopefully they may do something by then to sell a few more copies and get this album a Certification Award before the end of the decade. The live concert could do a miracle but I have doubts (especially in US).

Her "Remix and Revised" EP is also a bit far from a certification for sure (and will only get one if a track from it gets viral on streams).

Not sure if any of her "LIVE" albums have enough sales and streams to get a certification soon but I pretty much doubt about that.
Probably "Confessions Tour", "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret" or "Sticky & Sweet" may one day get to a gold certification but I believe they all must still be quite far to get there.

This week's updates have been bigger than last week's! Her VMAs appearance + the Madame X trailer being shown during the ceremony and on YouTube re-ignited some little interest! Nice to see. I'm hopeful the album will cross 80k daily streams/day after the premiere on October 8!
