      Thank you so much!
Is it possible to get the numbers today so that we can compare them tomorrow?

      • I know it represents just a few dozens sales but that's still surprising to me for a live album!

              That's perfect! Thanks

Tomorrow's update should be bigger than 74k but the real big one is gonna be Sunday's. Most people will watch the show tonight/this weekend, so the streams will start increasing tonight. I doubt a lot of people have watched it during the day.

                        • Amazing to see Die Another Day adding so much streams to American Life's total. In the end, Erotica is really her only album with no hope on Spotify, unless something becomes viral one day, it's her only pre-streaming era that didn't have a "classic" hit.

Can't wait to see Madame X's increase this week! I hope it reaches 100k daily streams tomorrow.

Frozen is also really helping Ray Of Light grow! The album's numbers were disappointing but they're improving week after week.

The one where Britney and Xtina are tagged? This is super random… Especially since it's not VMAs week!

There's some potential on Rain, which actually is the most played song on the album even though it was the 5th single.

Now Madonna is back at Warner, for editorial purposes too, I wouldn't be surprised if it's featured on a movie or playlisted somewhere or gets viral somehow. It's really beautiful.

Warner clearly is doing something... not sure exactly what but the album is TOP 20 Streaming album on Apple Music in many countries and her achieving so much sales in iTunes is clearly a great achievement (20 countries at #01 will certainly generate more press).

Madonna is promoting it too (at least in US) so I guess both must be doing something (all media news and reviews are bigger and in more media than usual).

We do not know if it was Madonna team or Warner that closed the deal with Paramount / MTV but at least in Europe MTV is promoting this quite nicely and doing repositions too (and even played it in more than one MTV channels at same time yesterday in some countries).

I honestly don’t think Warner has spent any money on this. It’s a live release, it would never be successful, even with tons of promo. We shouldn’t expect it to be treated live a studio album. It’s actually pretty great that it was released in the first place…

                                        • Id say playing the MX show on practically every single MTV station world wide is promo. Plus she was on Jimmy Fallon. The only thing was there was no banner at all on the US itunes store. I also thought it was weird that the Release Radar playlist didnt have a song either as all the past maxi singles and TB anniversary did.

I agree but this has nothing to do with Warner. She’s on Fallon every year and all of her past tours were broadcast somewhere. What I’m saying is that nothing could have made it a success. Perhaps some banners on iTunes but once again it’s a live album for an album (Madame X) that had mediocre results, and iTunes is irrelevant. What difference would have a banner done? A few hundreds copies more…
Even the biggest stars today don’t find success with their live releases.

I think having the live album released was already great and a nice gift from Warner. I wasn’t expecting anything from them for a live album. But I have very high expectations for her next studio one!

so every achieve is welcome. We should thank there’s a live album and it’s the most downloaded album in Europe.

                                              • Yeah i mean it wont sell a lot but what i think they should have done is tack on Ciao Bella at the end of the live album and then throw it on a few playlists. That brings promo for the live album and MX. Its also not the first time theyve put a random song on a live album so it wouldnt have been out of the question. They could have even put together a music video for CB made up of MX show clips and put that on YT. I mean theres so many little things they could do but dont.

200% agree with this. It's a missed opportunity. It's a new studio song that could bring more attention to the album/the era. It's amazing and dancey and would be the perfect way to close this chapter of her career. I'm really surprised they didn't do it tbh.

Also very surprised no extract from the show was published on YouTube as "live single." Her team always did with her previous tours. IDSIF, Future or Extreme Occident would be amazing. Even Frozen, but I'd rather have something from Madame X.
