I never heard WIFLFAG on the radio more than 5 times total, and only on Adult/AAA type stations back then and it was the original song not the video mix -which I never heard it on the radio btw-

Maybe too experimental for the general public? The lack of a proper third single (and fourth and fifth) after Christmas 2000/2001 didn't help.
3rd single, WIFLFAG was released in April 2001. I consider it a proper single, even though the video version was different and peaked at #23, on the Hot 100.

What do you mean the lack of proper third single? "What it feels like for a girl" was a proper third single... controversial video, single release, radio promo... So, what is your point?

Music is highly regarded, but time passes... Madonna did really well in the 2000s, but as she wasn't following trends or wasn't the youngest already, other artists end up being
remembered more for that decade.... Nelly, Beyoncé, Britney, NSync, Backstreet Boys, etc. Justin T... Also, evidently Confessions might've taken over as THE M album of the 2000s unfortunately... I prefer Music all the way, personally.

It was at 2,936,779 in May 2018 when we got the Soundscan leaked figures.
I guess Billboard would have rounded to 3 million if it was above 2,950,000, so, as expected, it moved less than 13k pure sales in these 28 months.
Previous official Billboard figure was 2,934,000 from Ask Billboard article in December 2016.
This always confuses me. So is streaming not included or is it so minimal it's hardly made a dent.

I’m really surprised at these US numbers for Music. I thought it had sold much more, considering how big she was back then, and that it was 20 years ago.
    What is the worldwide estimation?
