With SPS - 748,000.
500k SPS can be used towards a Platinum certification with the RIAA!
And...
Burning Up - 206,000

500k Gold physical single
+ 500k SPS
= Platinum digital single certification
We'll see this coming up:
1,000,000 Platinum physical single
+ 1,000,000 SPS
= 2x Platinum digital certification

This means the physical single being certified gold is already at least over 500k (depending on when it was certified can be 1 million for gold).
So if SPS is over 500k and it already have over 500k from physical this means it can get a platinum as total is over 1 million.

Yes, anything could happen, but with the huge competition that xmas has become, I just can't see this happening for a song that not even all of her fans are aware of its existence.

Madonna is capable of many things but the one thing she won't do is adopt their strategy and inflate her record sales/streaming numbers. She knows it changes nothing and whether she is the most certified or 15th most certified - she's the GOAT.My legacy is that I stayed on course… from the beginning to the end, because I believed in something inside of me. — Tina Turner

Please, leave this stan narrative aside.
Specially when the topic discussed, merging physical and digital sales for certifications, is legit and a common practice for every legacy artists lately that has nothing to do with all that…

An old digital sales figure that I have for Me Against The Music was 341,000 in 2012.
Spotify has it at 44,769,583.
YouTube has it at 45,877,273.
SPS: 511,000
Eligible for Gold with the RIAA!
But, Madonna is featured so if Britney's label ever did certify it, it would not count towards Madonna's total.
