With those numbers I’m surprised at how well Medellin did since it has 3k more units than GT that was performed twice in tv and when the whole era had more promo and interviews and a full tour (besides GT not being performed) and also had some airplay while Medellin it was only the BMA performance and that’s it.

Also I think that with time, maybe in 4-5 years RH could reach Gold, maybe with the movie.

Where's The Party was a popular True Blue album cut and could have been the 6th single from TB, but Madonna wrote 4 songs for the Who's That Girl movie that she was starring in. Two singles were released in the USA:

I was reading an old issue of Radio 'N Records magazine from 1987.

In the Compact Data column from the Oct. 2, 1987 column:

Madonna's Top Tape

"Who's That Girl" is the top selling cassette single so far from the Warner Bros. camp, according to V.P. director of sales, Louis Denis.

The label has shipped 105,000 copies of the Sire release on tape (initial outlay was approximately 20,000) and 446,000 on vinyl.

446k + 105K = 551k - Eligible for Gold as a physical single with the RIAA!

I wasn't expecting anything outstanding regarding who's that girl nor Causing a Commotion (although I love both).
What really surprised me (in a negative way) was La Isla Bonita's numbers.
I know they're good but it's such a force on YT ,that I thought it would reflect on its sps numbers being somewhat amazing .
I reckon the great majority of its views must come from Latin America tho.

Because SPS includes 1.1 digital singles + 1.1 million from equivalent streaming. The physical copies are aditional to the SPS
So that's 1+1+1 = 3
