    Britney Spears: 2,955,704,265
Mariah Carey: 2,665,538,991 (counting AIWFCIU, but she has 18 #1s which is difficult to have!)
    Madonna: 2,172,301,874
    Christina Aguilera: 2,023,186,381
    Kylie Minogue: 732,342,250
Janet Jackson: 532,249,984 (tragic that her career was halted wayy before streaming was a thing)

All of these ladies had their prime way before the streaming age. Had it not been for AIWFCIU, Mariah would be more comparable to Madonna. She wrote that and made the iconic song that it is today, so props to her for coming up with a timeless classic! Britney is the outlier in that she still kept a strong fanbase that is used to streaming thanks to a successful 2011 era, her numbers are way more regular than Mariah's or Madonna's, all album tracks have reached 1M streams while some studio albums by Madonna have several songs with less than 1M. Same thing happens on some of Mariah's album tracks. Britney's streams for her biggest hits are also synched, so playing "...Baby One More Time" on her compilations or on the original album will count for the original version with 237,028,224 streams; while we know the disaster that's going on with 4 Minutes, Material Girl and Like a Prayer. Worst case of this is Holiday. Having one song with let's say 150M streams would make it easier for whoever makes playlists to include those instead of tracks with 10M that people may skip. Team Britney did things right for once! With Madonna/Mariah comparisons, Caution has been streamed less than Madame X, and Caution was released autumn last year... which is kind of tragic as it's a really good album. But it really tells you Madonna isn't as bad on streaming as current Mariah Carey at least. Christina Aguilera really did halt her career with Bionic, even though it's such a good album.

Probably shouldn't compare her to Whitney or Michael since their catalog would be way lower if they were still alive. I'm sure there will be a resurgence especially of her 80s music when she dies and we'll get fans who had "always" loved her who were calling her irrelevant right up until she died.

I think this really shows a picture of Madonna's streams nowadays.

ps; it doesn't count Santa Baby and Time Stood Still but they are probably doing less than 1k daily combined

Nice numbers, Madonna is not doing it thaaaat bad, I’m even slightly sure that M might be in the same range as Xtina and Jlo, of course they have 50% less albums than her but are supposed to be more current.

I’m fine with Mimi because she’s also more current in Xmas and also her catalogue is more current, plus her main market in the USA is more into streaming, M’s albums from 92-03 are in the deep end, her main hits are from the 80’s and 05-19, plus she has a wider WW market that it might not be that into Spotify, I remember that she does better in Apple Music than Spotify.

    Except they don't…

Last time I checked "most of" meant, at least, more than half…

AIWFCIY -different versions combined- represents 19,5% of Mariah's total Spotify streams.
Whitney's IWDWS represents 18% of her total streams. IWALY 12,5%. So 30% of her total from 2 songs.
    MHWGO 13% of Celine's…

Some of you reeeeally need to abandon that narrative where Mariah's numbers are only due to AIWFCIY as she's still above 2 billion streams without AIWFCIY.

Nothing wrong in comparing numbers in a mature and civilised way, but with facts, please.

It's not annoying him. He's trying to prevent a fight. That's all.

Madonna and Mariah numbers were compared in the Mariah thread recently. No fights at all.

Well, she’s 200M ahead of Whitney and 500M behind Mariah.
She’s actually closer to Whitney than to Mariah. So she and Whitney are comparable.
Celine is 500M behind Madonna. So she’s as closer to Madonna as Madonna is to Mariah.

Current urban artists do well on streaming, but not “old divas”.
I don’t think Mariah’s lead has anything to do with R&B... as other 90s/00s female artists doing R&B are well behind...

Dont forget Janet. She has 530M. Mariah Carey lead is due to AIWFC.

You are right: 184.275.637 are the streams for the standard edition; +12.359.207 for the tracks of the deluxe edition; +2.157.006 for the tracks of the superdeluxe edition. So total streams are 198.791.850. Probably it will reach 200M the forthcoming weekend, when Madame X will reach 100M.
