Sorry, Rain and Love Don’t Live Here Anymore were #1 on Bubbling Under before charting in Hot 100.

Hot Single Sales: 15
Digital Tracks: 2
Mainstream Top 40: 1
Adult Contemporary: 5
AC Recurrent: 2
Rhythmic: 3
Dance/Club Play: 45
Dance Singles Sales: 33
Dance Mix/Show Airplay: 7
Hot 100 Recurrents: 2
Latin Digital Songs: 1
Latin Rhythm Digital Songs: 1
Latin Pop Digital Songs: 1
Billboard 200: 8
Top Album Sales: 6
Current Albums: 2
Dance/Electronic Albums: 2
Digital Albums: 4
Internet Albums: 5
Tastemakers: 2
Music Video Sales: 10
Total #1s in Billboard US charts: 181
Billboard Top Album Sales and BB200 were the same till streaming was introduced, so not sure if those are officially counted or it should be 5 less (only Rebel Heart charted afterwards).
Besides, she has more #1s on International Billboard charts like Canadian Hot 100, Canadian Albums, Canadian Digital Songs, and then a few more on Billboard digital tracks charts of Sweden, Spain, Greece, etc. (Those Billboard charts are rather new, it doesn't mean all her #1s in those countries). So the overall number counting those international charts as well it's maybe above 200.
Has Madonna ever been number one on Bubbling Under Hot 100?

Yes! Thanks, nympho.
Medellin is Madonna's ~70th single released! If you count Spotlight, Everybody, etc...

As an aside there are articles popping up in many publications discussing how radio and playlists are ignoring M due to what seems to be her age. Maybe there will be enough backlash (and in this case finally in her favor) that will prompt radio to actually play her. I have a good feeling.
She might not get her 39th top 10 but maybe her 58th Hot 100. Although the current methodology really invalidates or defies the records that others like Madonna made and broke. If today’s chart rules were in effect in the 80s and 90s every Madonna album track would’ve charted. But the chart rules back then required an official commercial release. As we all know this, it definitely bears repeating!!
But I’ll take as many #1s now as possible to extend her lead as artist with most #1s!!

Examples:
Hot 100 Airplay
Hot 100 Single Sales
AC
Adult Top 40
12-inch Singles - which began in 1985 with Material Girl at #1
There's 7 different dance charts
= 161 #1s

Back in 2012 she had 156 #1s already:
https://www.billboard.com/articles/c...llboard-charts
"A record 156 No. 1s. Given her multi-format appeal, winning support at pop, dance and adult formats, Madonna leads all artists for the most No. 1s on all Billboard charts combined. When her latest single "Turn Up the Radio" ruled the Sept. 8 Dance/Club Play Songs chart, Madonna logged her record-extending 156th leader on an active, current-based domestic Billboard survey. "

I think it's the number of BB charts she has topped since the beginning of her career. 45 of them Dance/Club Airplay charts. Plus her #1s, it makes 57. 104 more sounds a bit fishy
