  • How come Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams video is considered a "female" video when it's obviously not a solo effort from Annie Lennox?

    • As pointed out, the exact same tweet has been posted by three different users in this same page.

              • I've been streaming FEL for 4 straight weeks, every day, all day long.

I'm now moving on to the This Is Madonna playlist:

Some, but quite poor. It's only added to very small NMF playlists, the biggest one being the Spanish one with 259,732 followers (31/60). Also Portugal, Colombia, Maghreb, nothing bit.

Also added to Gym Modo On on 2/121 with 317,000 followers. That's another Spanish one.

People have lives to live unlike you. It's not like posting something more than once on ukmix will make the forum run out of paper.

But it's charting at #5 and #2 respectively on their Vinyl Albums Charts...

Quite shocking, to be honest, the sales of an album charting on Top 5 on Vinyls are not enough to be Top 100 on the main charts...
Gives you and idea of how much streaming and so little sales charts are nowadays...

Exactly! German charts are more fair as are based on REAL VALUE! That's the only reason the album charted.

It's outrageous that albums selling 10 times less value may chart ahead... makes no sense how streaming units are converted!
I mean... listening to the album the number of times I used to listen as a teen would make equivalent buy one new album every week or every 2 weeks!
That's what happens with teens today on streaming! Each one buys like 20 or 30 equivalent albums for their favorite artist on streaming for chart and certification purposes... but on value that's probably even less than 1 real Vinyl album...

Just getting on the sales chart won't get an album on the charts anymore. It needs to stream a good amount before it does.

Streaming is definitely helping MJ and Whitney though... but I guess kids know more about them then they would Madonna? We knew streaming would be the future of the charts. It's beneficial in some ways and not beneficial in others but that's the record business for you.
