Doubt it. Looking at @UnapologeticKenny numbers, there are at least 60 songs that get more streams than SB during the year, so I don't think that it could happen.

For me, Santa Baby is just a fun thing to track during November-Decemeber, and that's it.

I don’t mean into her top ten but if Santa Baby can pull in numbers across December others cannot do in twelve months, it will rise year on year.

The fact some little Christmas song she recorded thirty five years ago has more streams than over half of her actual album tracks shows it’s already possible, especially if it keeps getting more streams year on year.

Ultimately it’s a number game. It won’t become her most streamed song, but it will average out somewhere, and it’s already got more streams than some of her actual singles.

Sure, I understand, but even with the numbers it gets during Christmas season, the song won't go much further.
I mean, by the end of this decade, SB will probably have less than 20 millions streams, and that won't even make her Top 70

Look at it another way - they can’t afford to legitimise BTU(DI) because new music is probably on the way.

This thought actually passed through my mind the other day but I realized that if they wanted they could pull it off cause they are releasing a lot of stuff lately. Erotica singles, YCD Edits, the rumored Gambler single... I wonder if they even know about it cause we have two different uploads making money out of the song and nobody does anything.

They’ll know because it’s doing the rounds in Madonna forums, and certain ones are monitored (or at least dipped into by her team). Guy might have little control over Madonna’s decisions but the guy knows what’s happening and what we want.

As the demo is out there they probably don’t see the point in trying to block it - it has over a million view on one upload on YouTube.

Great! One of my favs of hers and she wrote it all herself. Let's hope the song gets some love translated into decent numbers -for that type of release- but again we have to be realistic and Xmas time makes it rather difficult too

all-time streaming charts: it is basically the 80s biggest hits plus the singles that came out in the streaming age, the 90s and early 00s are tragically under-represented. Only Vogue (which is more a continuation of 80s Madonna) and Frozen (that benefits from the recent remix's numbers) are in the top 10 and only Ray of Light in the top 20 (without the remix Frozen would have probably ended up in the top 20 as well). Something more needs to be done to push 90s Madonna....

This all-time list is basically Spotify and Youtube. We don't know anything from the others (maybe Pandora, but I don't know if it counts as streaming or radio spins).

Anyway... for those who care, BTUTTB did 203k streams on Spotify yesterday. I'm mentioning it again because for the first time the original demo version surpassed alone the 100k streams in 24 hours. This could have been another Frozen for sure:

Remix: 05/12 - 1,272,610 (+87,915)
Demo version: 05/12 - 730,161 (+115,399)

I promise I'll only mention this again if it keeps hitting interesting marks (150k, 200k, etc).



EDIT: Shazam changed its result. Now when you play the TikTok remix for it, it shows the song "Buck" by Elent (already uploaded on Spotify with 84,582 streams as of yesterday). I'm gonna start tracking it too )
