France best selling album ever... madonna isn't in the female top20
    But they write:
The only purely foreign artist with such results is Madonna that fails the Top 20 but still has three million sellers in True Blue (#21), The Immaculate Collection (#23) and Ray Of Light (#28).

10 blockbuster soundtracks that reached Number 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart

    Evita - Madonna (1996)
Helmed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Alan Parker, Evita and its music was a big change both visually and vocally for its leading lady Madonna.

The collection reached Number 1 in the UK 13 weeks after its release and earned Madonna another three Top 10 singles: You Must Love Me, Another Suitcase in Another Hall and, of course, Donít Cry For Me Argentina. At the time of writing the soundtrack has sold 505,000.

Seeing the breakdown of the first page, these total sales of Madonna are underestimated in about 2 million... or more. :-?

Looks like there are too many catalog titles ahead of it for it to rank in the catalog sales top 50.

Forgot to mention- Jan. 24 was listed as the official release date for TIC vinyl, but if my local store is any indication, outlets were selling it prior to then.

Also- Catalog Albums is moving to a multi-metric chart, so not sure how TIC would fare on there now.

Will The Immaculate Collection sell enough on vinyl to re-enter some U.S. charts next week? I''m primarily interested in Top Album Sales and Catalog Albums, and, of course, Vinyl Albums.†

Bedtime Stories charted on Vinyl Albums for one week last fall, at No. 19. None of the other album reissues charted (though that [Like a Virgin and Other Big Hits hit No. 5 on Vinyl Albums (sold around 2,600 during the week of†Record†Store Day).
