It's kinda amazing how successful she was in 00s and yet her success is always downgraded. I mean all singles she released in that decade were top 10 singles worldwide (excluding Miles Away and Love Profusion)

La Isla Bonita is actually a monster hit around the world. Chart peaks might not reflect that but it's definitely in top 3 among most popular M songs. Especially for casual fans.

On Spotify La Isla Bonita is behind LAP, LAV, MG and Vogue only (among her old hits).

It's definitely one of her most remembered song from the 80s! It was huge in Europe, not as much in the US (although it's the biggest selling catalog seller among True Blue singles).

German and France market were very different at the time, foreign songs barely charted high.

"La Isla Bonita" was her only #1 hit in Germany until "American Pie". I was shocked when "Pie" hit #1. The video wasn't even released.

Hi! Annoyingly, I didn't get the end of week sales for last week's chart, so I can't report whether it's top 200 or not. I was hoping it would show up in the top 200 midweeks this week and then I'd be able to let you know because last week's official position would have been reported. Sorry!

Some of his figures are a little questionable, but he has her at 205m albums sold and that's more likely than Mediatraffic numbers.

He also made mistake because he first posted RH sales at 900,000 on its page but later at 850,000 and he posted Italy sales as 15,000 when they are over 60,000

He had Rebel Heart at 850k even on its own page, because of the 15k typo. Me and another person commented highlighting the mistake, which has now been corrected (only on RH sales page though).

Some singles sales may be a bit off, but the overall picture is what matters for this type of work. And, overall, it looks amazing.

Isn't it at 3,5m between US and UK?

4 Minutes sales are absolutely fine.

What actually bothers me are sales of some of her 80s singles. It seems like MJD reworked some of his US estimates; I did use different numbers from his concerning physical sales of her 80s singles in the US (I did use more conservative figures).

For instance, I clearly remember him putting "Material Girl" at 1,2 million copies (only physical) in the US. Which would lead at least to a 2 million worldwide total, instead the 1,6 million he has now estimated.
