They post only her lead credits streams (for some reason, MATM counts for Madonna in their numbers). Madonna Charts counts all credits. I post both.

Songs played at concerts don't have to be big hits at all, there's literally no connection between commercial performance and live performance potential.
Human Nature fits gigs very well, during Take A Bow the crowd would fall asleep, hahaha. Besides, it wasn't such a bit hit either (it did very well in the USA but pretty much everywhere else it underperformed big time).

      • how many streams the solo version of holiday did
Blue hydrangea, cold cash divine. Cashmere, cologne and white sunshine.
Red racing cars, sunset and vine. And we were young and pretty.

Take A Bow was a BIG hit in the most important market of the world!!

And that people would fall asleep during its performance, that’s YOUR OWN assumption, not a fact !!

Actually Take a Bow went top 10 in almost every major market bar the UK
IT was a solid hit, not a worldwide smash like Hung Up but a legitimate hit nonetheless

It hardly made any Top 10's in Europe (except for Italy where almost all her singles went Top 10), it also missed it in Australia. That's not what I call a big hit. The biggest markets are: US, JP, UK, DE & FR.

                  • Guys if you want to discuss if something was a hit or not please use the GAD Madonna thread.
I have a bad feeling about this.

One of my favorite eras. I love the Confessions Tour version, too.

Wow! Really? Must be the power of La Isla! Wonder if the Sorry release will flip flop this.

                                                  • I was checking on Cyndi Lauper's singles charts and I found it funny how some of her singles charted outside of the Australian top 100 (sometimes even outside of the top 200), apparently somebody asked an insider about these chart positions. I checked on Madonna's singles profile on Wikipedia. Of course, most of her Australian charted within the top 100 but I was wondering if there were more than just Living for love (#157) and Another Suitcase in Another Hall (#118).

This is what I'm talking about:
