Femme fatale gross of $68.7 million is just bad with hit singles and promo and all shows flopped….

Piece of me tour not impressive, less than $40 mil with asia shows is not worth of brag…

She only have 1 hit tour in 20 years. Touring act is Beyonce or p!nk .
The numbers are including 248 shows in a Las Vegas-residency at Zappos Theater. And if $707k average is low, imagine grossing $400,000 in one of the biggest markets on the planet (59%) or $497,000 on your opening run in the same city (78%, the worst numbers this decade in Las Vegas and one of the major flops in history)... pure garbage.

I really hope you can't understand this, considering who you stan.

      • All this conversation made me think about Piece of Success Tour, so I did a list of the highest-grossing female artists this decade, according to Pollstar's Year End (2010-2019):

        1. Taylor Swift - $904.9 million
        2. Lady Gaga - $598.7 million*
        3. Beyoncé - $502.5 million
        4. Pink - $481.3 million*
        5. Madonna - $466.7 million
        6. Celine Dion - $431.1 million
        7. Katy Perry - $347.2 million
        8. Rihanna - $302.4 million
        9. Britney Spears - $261.2 million
        10. Adele - $226.7 million

        *Including 2019 Mid Year.
She is on the list with two different shows only (Femme Fatale and Piece of Me).

As we can see, we stan a TOURING FORCE.

Wow this is amazing, first female to have a Billion era from 3 different decades. Thanks for sharing.

Amazing results Matheus, so she's the 9th biggest female touring act of this decade? that's pretty good to me.

It's also worth mentioning that she pulled a +$100million grossing show in two different decades: "Circus Tour" in the 00s and "Piece Of Me" in the 10s.

Yeah she is according to Pollstar.

If we consider some numbers like Rihanna, Katy Perry and Adele that were very affected by wrong estimates, she would still be on the top 10, but on #10 with a $5-10 million gap from Adele #9.

            • Regarding the Femme Fatale Tour, it did gross more than $68.7 million. I have access to Pollstar and can confirm several shows weren't reported, so they came up with a very wrong guesstimate that makes no sense when you analyze the numbers.

40 shows were reported, and she grossed $43,474,783 from those dates (average of $1,086,869). Yet, according to their 2011 report, her average per show was only $858,750. A damn joke, if you ask me.

The tour had 79 shows in total, but only 76 actually count, as two of them were festivals and she also did a free show in Mexico. $1,086,869 x 76 = $82,602,044. It's basic math. And I won't even get into the $9.3 million they estimated for the Asian shows.

but let's not forget Britney is not an act from the streaming era (and not even the digital era), so her achieving that proves that people are still checking her catalogue after 20 years

Some of you really got the nerve to report someone and then do something just as bad, or even worse.

When will some of you learn to IGNORE the trolls? Don't feed them. You reported him? Right. He'll get an infraction if it's due once we see it.
But attacking Xtina in here, going off topic so badly just because he's a fan?

Really immature and considered baiting and trolling as well.

Considering the BOMT album is pulling 10million monthly streams I guess this will reach the 400million mark in 2 months and a half.

Yep. By the end of the year, her biggest (and only) album from the 90s will be at 400 million streams, while her biggest from the 00s will reach 500 million and her biggest from the 2010s will reach 300 million.

Very interesting that 'Not a Girl' was the biggest airplay hit of the 'Britney' era in Europe. It's amazing to see how much she slayed during her prime.

Singles from 'In the Zone' were massive as well, so I wish this magazine existed for another year or two.

Very interesting that 'Not a Girl' was the biggest airplay hit of the 'Britney' era in Europe. It's amazing to see how much she slayed during her prime.

Singles from 'In the Zone' were massive as well, so I wish this magazine existed for another year or two.

                                        • I always found cool how her first 7 consecutive singles were all hit songs in Europe sales-wise, peaks-wise and Airplay-wise. She just started right away smashing and getting hit after hit just like that like if she was an established artist from day 1.

8 out of her first 11 singles were Top 10 European Radio hits, and the other 3 that weren't still peaked at #12 and #13. Shame the chart was discontinued because In The Zone's singles would have all smashed in there too.

I think they should have credited her for the remix during that specific week when it charted thanks to it (If I'm not wrong the song was Top 10 that week) . . . . but I'm ok with her not being credited that week, they didn't really do wrong to Britney because they have the exact same / equal rules and policy for everyone so it's a pretty fair game.

                                                      • I love that she remains the biggest female hit maker of her generation in the UK.

Anyway, speaking of the UK, can someone explain how their certification system works? It's honestly quite confusing to me. For example, "In the Zone" sold 540K pure copies, but how would the success of "Toxic" and "Everytime" impact the album's SPS units? I know they usually lower the points of the most streamed track or something like that, but it would be cool to see the album getting a 2x Platinum certification in the future.

"Blackout" was at 291,075 as of two years ago, and it moved nearly 2K units between January and October 2017 (1,919, to be exact). With streaming getting bigger and bigger each year, I think we can maybe estimate around 295K copies sold so far. I can't wait for it to get certified 1x Platinum.

My bet is that ITZ still needs about 3 more years to reach the Double Platinum status, so it's not really quite there yet but it's her only remaining studio album that has a chance and will surely go Double Platinum in the relative close future.

Agreed. If I'm not mistaken, "Blackout" has pulled around 15K units from streaming, so I imagine "In the Zone" would be much, much higher than that as "Toxic" alone outstreams the whole "Blackout" album. Probably no less than 560-570K units for "In the Zone".

Those streaming units better not go towards "The Singles Collection".
