-BOMT is no lower than 7m
-Sometimes is definately over 2m
-OIDIA is around 3m
-Everytime is around 1,8m
-Gimme More is around 2,8m
-Circus is definately over 6m including ringtones (it was at 5,5m back in 2009 when the song was around 2,4m in USA, now the song is over 3m in US, so its +600K more units just from one country)
- Hold it against me is around 3,3m
- Criminal is over 700K
- Work Bitch is over 1,8m (if its not at 2m already)
I agree. i did some calculations and Circus should be well over 6 million now. If Circus managed to sell that much despite being a bit local, then Womanizer is at least at 7 million tbh.
The thing is that I haven't had enough time lately to do the estimations, I can estimate all of her digital era singles easily and the big classic ones like ("BOMT", "OIDIA", "Toxic" ,etc). However if I want to estimate her older physical period singles like "Crazy", "Lucky", "Stronger", "I'm a slave 4 U", "Overprotected", "Me against the music", "My prerogative", etc, I'd need more free time.
So I'll post what I have:
Baby one more time - 7m
Oops I did it again - 2,8m
Toxic - +4m
Gimme More - 2,8m
Piece of me - 2,9m
Womanizer - +6m
Circus - +6m (includes ringtones)
If u seek amy - 1,8m
Radar - 800K
3- 4m
Hold it against me - 3,3m
S&M rihmix - 1,5m
Till the world ends - 5m
I wanna go - 2,8m
Criminal - 750K
Scream and shout - 8m
Ooh la la - +1m
Work Bitch - 1,8m
Perfume - 450K

A few years ago, I was an active member on several Britney forums and I still remember that BOMT sold 9,100,000+, Not a Girl 2,000,000+ and Gimme Mpre almost 4,000,000.
The global singles estimations/sale figur don't come close...
Does anyone know how much Britney's albums sold through UK music clubs? I know Britannia Music Club was quite big until the mid 2000s (?) and I've seen estimations for other artists so it'd be nice to know Britney's sales too.
My estimated single sales are probably conservative, but I think everyone will agree that Britney has sold between 80-90 million singles WW.
Agree. She sold around almost 40m in the USA and I believe she sold around the same amount in Europe. 80m is a low estimation if you ask me. I believe anything above 90m.
Blackout sold 2 million worldwide by 2007 with about 600k of the total coming from the USA. It officially hit 1 million in the country 3 years ago so why does the OP say 2.5 million? It should be close to 3 million!
Sales since 2007
USA // 400,000 (could be more)
Australie // 60,000
UK // 180,000
Japon // 20,000
Canada // 80,000
France // 60,000
Italie // 25,000
Russie // 20,000
Allemagne // 40,000
Corée du Sud // 3,000
Irlande // 15,000

She should be around 45-47 million in the U.S with digital, physical, and mobile sales. Womanizer alone sold 800k through mobile sales in just a year.

That's inflated. She sold 28m digital in 2012. Since then she has s&s: 3.5m, ooh la la: 250k, WB: 1M, Perfume: 300k, other: let say 500k. So total digital sales are 33.5m-34m. Her physical sales make it reach 40m. No more than that.

Bney, the list didn't include features or album tracks. Toxic alone has sold that much since 2012 and she has other good catalog sellers. You don't know what you're talking about now stop making more duplicate accounts.

3 million is a generous number for Blackout!
2 million is what it shipped in 2007, not sold
Those sales after 2007 are already included in the 2M figure

I estimate that she sells 2+ million digital tracks a year when you include her other singles and album tracks.
I really hope her label re-certify her discography. Or maybe they're waiting for certain records to surpass the nearest threshold for the successive certification. I'd really like to see Work Bitch at Platinum.

They haven't certified "Womanizer" 3x Platinum yet, what makes you think they will certify "Work Bitch"?

I didn't actually say they would. But I'd love to see it certified. A diamond from black dust.
Also, doesn't Circus having stalled at 1.7million sales really irritate anyone? I mean maybe they've shipped enough for 2xPlatinum certification but I doubt it.

I'd like to think Circus is 2x platinum elegible, yes. I'm sure the label thought it would sell more, just like FF. Plus it got to platinum 3-4 weeks after being released so they probably shipped much more than 1.7 million.
And yeah it's so weird that her last certified single by Jive/RCA was 7 years ago.
Buy and stream Britney's new hot sinlgle: "Make Me...".
Random question but are shipments solely physical and do they include digital albums? For instance does iTunes have a finite number of albums available to purchase until the label approves for more? Man I'm confused haha.
