.. Of course in addition of all the accolades, acclaim and cult-following it gained over the years.

.. Not bad for being Britney's "floppiest" / weakest (commercially) album of the 2000s right?
Funnily enough, "Blackout" has more streams than some albums from its time that were considered "successful". Anyway it will hit 300 million streams in a few months, which is a pretty solid total all things considered. Monthly streams have jumped by 1 million (20%) since November 2019.

      Yes, exactly.

I think streaming wise "Blackout" was doing quite weak but it's starting to grow in a healthy way now.

      • Britney’s weakest market in Europe would probably be The Netherlands right?

I think it’s Poland. She hasn’t had a Top 10 album there since "Britney".

                                  • Glad to see any kind of effect, but IMO it's pointless.

We should rather do campaign to get In The Zone into UK top 10 albums chart, now when sales are low. Like 3-4k for top 10

                                    • The #justiceofglory campaign has the goal to bring “Glory” to #1 on iTunes. A re-entry into the Billboard Chart Top 200 is probably not possible, but at least the album is eligible faster for a Gold certification

If this campaign has success, the fans will probably do other campaigns as well.

                                      • Why do these diva fans (Britney’s included) care so much about these pointless itunes campaigns lately? Itunes is so irrelevant these days, it’s like caring about something that won’t mean a single thing on the Billboard 200

The only worth mentioning thing here is that at least her album is at FULL PRICE on itunes and it’s NOT discounted to either $3.99 or $4.99 like the previous divas campaigns.

..... Anyways, I’m more interested on getting “Glory” to 300million streams on Spotify instead (which is very close BTW 299,3M now) .. streaming is what matters these days. So let’s stream

                                        • it's not completely pointless

"Glitter" sold 3,000 copies in the US the last time it hit #1 on iTunes

3,000 copies for an album like Glory that barely sold 160k pure copies in the US is actually a lot

Glitter is not available for streaming which placed it at an obvious disadvantage. It did, however, re-enter a number of genre charts for several weeks.

1 album download = 1.500 plays on a streaming platform. We all know iTunes is not relevant anymore, but it‘s still a good platform for reaching some new milestones, like certifications.
