Nice to see those increases.

"Womanizer" will always be legendary in Britney's career. 10 years into the business and she pulled this comeback #1 smash without features, duets or gimmicks. Just her as a solo artist.

Also, how cool to say that you had a #1 hit with a 6th studio album.

her numbers on YouTube lately are amazing. I mean, even Criminal is close to 100k views daily. good to see people are still checking her videos even after almost 1 entire year without touring and 3 years without music.

I saw this on twitter:

Female artists with #1 albums on Billboard 200 in at least 3 different decades:

- Barbra Streisand - 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s
- Janet Jackson - 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s
- Madonna - 80s, 00s, 10s
- Britney Spears - 90s, 00s, 10s
- Whitney Houston - 80s, 90s, 00s

We knew already this about Britney but what I didn't know is that apparently only 5 women did this in Billboard history, that's an incredible limited group.

Thanks for that reminder pedrolabre. Even though I already knew that Britney had in general #1 albums and singles in 3 different decades I wasn't really conscious about the fact that Britney and Janet were just the only female artists in Billboard music history to have a #1 album that yielded a #1 single in 3 different decades too.

That's quite dope. I haven't thought about it.

90s: "Baby One More Time" album #1 ("Baby One More Time" single #1)
00s: "Circus" album #1 ("Womanizer" #1)
10s: "Femme Fatale" #1 ("Hold It Against Me" #1)

Cool.

Some of you are desperately screaming for infractions to be issued… For real.

@Ewokguy15, seriously, stop it, let it go. You're reaching. It seems you're looking for trouble.

To the Britney fans, specially @Instinct, this is not your ghetto. This is not your Britney fansite or your altar to worship her. This is a chart analysis forum and, as long as no one is insulting or spreading fake info, or trolling, other opinions are valid.

This goes for these last pages and your overall attitude, as it's some of you's everyday attitude. Stanning is a cause of infraction as much as trolling according to this forum rules.

There's a toxic relationships between you, both in this thread and the Xtina threads where some Britney fans, (specially Instint in Xtina's tour thread these days), are trolling just as much.

Back to topic, please.
This is the last warning I'll be making before infractions are issued.

Just keep compiling her stats from the 2000s though you must be running out way to make her look better than other artists, as a fan base that is something Britney fans need, no other fan base seems to need this.

I am not comparing Britney to anyone else, she is an individual and I am not comparing her to anyone else.
1. Britney's still scored multiple platinum hits & sold out shows after 2011, which is more than you can say for many of her peers who haven't had a hit album in 13 years. Even when her albums aren't successful, she still manages to find commercial success somehow. Some people are completely over in every single metric (ie: no successful albums, no successful singles, no airplay, no streams, no successful tours, no successful residencies).

2. Grammy's have nothing to do with commercial success & there are other award shows out there that have given her important icon/legend awards. Have fun bragging about two irrelevant noms for the next 10 years, though.

3. You keep coming for her fans for doing what people are supposed to do in this section of the forum. I mean, other fan bases discuss figures from the 80s/90s all the time but somehow it's always an issue with Britney fans do it. You think you're shading us, when you're actually shading 99% of this forum. I'm sorry we actually post chart information rather than useless crap - as you do every time you post in this thread.

It's hilarious how you've been on this forum for 17 years yet have absolutely no clue what the 'Artist Chart Analysis' section is about.

Yeah, I think certain people need to stop this absurd narrative that Britney is some obscure star these days who's struggling to find a job, who is on Nelly Furtado's same boat and who people don't even know who she is anymore just because she's not selling big units anymore. That's just ridiculous.

She will always be Britney, her albums may not set the charts on fire anymore but still to this date sh*tloads of people will attend her concerts in any market, she has a very decent following on every social media platform too so people still checks her and she still (and will always) generate millions of dollars. There's plenty of room for her in the music industry and she remains a profitable pop star today, let's not act like if she was Macy Gray or something.

Also, in +20 years of career all of her lead singles have been Top 40 hits (and she has quite a lot), for her first two full decades in the business she never knew what is like to miss the Top 40, let alone the Hot 100 chart with a lead single (she never reached that level in 20 years) and that's something she will always have even if she never charts again.

I don't understand the point on this Xtina stan last posts But I do understand why this fan base are always fuming about Britney's status and somehow need just one list to look like she flopped or something. Maybe it's hard to see how successful she is and how she overshadowed her peers.

And it's not that hard to see how Britney always rocks on the lists. She is in the top 10 in every list in the industry: albums, singles, awards, touring (gross and tickets). She is successful on streaming by her own catalogue not just because of feats, her last first single went platinum, her last show was a huge success in all terms with most of the dates sold out on the biggest markets on the planet (arenas, stadiums and parks) and also left a incredible legacy, she received a lot of extra awards on this decade because of her legacy and influence (Vanguard Award by MTV, Millennium Award by Billboard, Icon Award by MC, Icon Award by Disney, Ultimate Award by TCA etc) and of course she was able to enter the Hot 100 (with feat and by herself). Not everyone has all of this.

A successful woman.

You came here....for what?

Heís a Britney fan so of course he will make lists that include Britney, right? I mean I donít give a flying crap about Katy Perry for example so I wonít give you a breakdown of her sales or other peopleĎs sales compared to hers either.

And letís be real Britney dominated the 2000s so of course she looks good in those lists. Sheís the only one of her peers next to Beyoncť, P!nk and Shakira that was still relevant this decade as well.

So overall I donít get what youíre trying to do here...
