          50K pure (as of 2005) + 70K SPS (since 2009) = 120K

Wow and those 50K are physical copies! Impressive considering how dead the physical sales were at the time. …Baby One More Time should be certified platinum in the next few months I think

              • This Britney fan site from the mid 2000s has some info on her Italian sales (translated wtih Google Translate)

The unstoppable success of Greatest Hits: My Prerogative in Italy continues. Britney's collection of hits this week gains one position and climbs to # 15, one position also rises to the single moving from # 13 to # 12. The DVD instead, which contains his 20 videos including 10 with backstage, drops from # 07 to # 08! But let's talk in figures: the Best Of is at 160,000 copies, the single at 30,000 (gold), practically the same thing for the DVD that has sold almost 40,000 copies so far. ( News : BFC-BMG-FIMI)
At 6 months and over on the charts, Britney Spears' third most successful single in the world (after ... Baby One More time and Oops! .. I Did It Again), placed # 10 on the annual chart stilled. from fimi.it regarding the best-selling singles in Italy in 2004! Toxic, with two gold records, is definitely Britney's biggest success in our country with nearly 50,000 copies sold. Still as regards the singles, My Prerogative appears at # 33 while the Greatest Hits at # 51 ... obviously both the single and the best off had only been out for 7 weeks so these positions cannot be considered "low", but excellent results! ( News: BFC-FIMI)
Also, I had no idea Everytime was released as the second single from GH:MP in Italy. That's random.

EXCLUSIVE: The site of People, the very famous American magazine for which Britney has also released the exclusive interview regarding her wedding, has revealed that Britney is shooting a new video. We are informed, get ready: BMG ITALIA has revealed that the video of Do Somethin 'will be released in our country as the third single from Greatest Hits. Initially Jive Records had announced the release of a single unreleased album from Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, but given the huge worldwide success they planned the release of a new single, in fact Britney was photographed again blonde and near a studio where she was intent on trying a new choreography. We also respond to the emails that have arrived in the last week: Everytime will be released in Italy as the second single because the video has never been released in Italy due to the prolonged success of Toxic, therefore, since it is an unreleased song, BMG ITALIA has decided to release the video to promote the best of since Everytime is contained in the Greatest Hits and has been one of Britney's biggest hits all over the world. For more info contact us! ( News: BFC-BMG ITALIA )
BMG ITALIA PRESS RELEASE: Britney Spears' Greatest Hits has reached 100,000 copies in Italy, achieving platinum status in just 4 weeks! According to the forecasts of BMG ITALIA the cd will reach 200/250 thousand copies at the end of the promotion, this means that Britney's fifth album will also be her best-selling album in Italy. Here are the official Italian sales charts of all her albums: ... Baby One More Time: 150.000 - Oops! ... I Did It Again: 150.000 - Britney 95.000 - In The Zone: 80.000 - Greatest Hits My Prerogative: 100.000 (in 4 weeks!).
GH:MP sold 100K in 4 weeks, and 160K by early 2005. ChartMasters has it at 150K overall. In the Zone had sold 80K by the end of 2004, but they have it at 70K overall. The GH:MP DVD sold 40K too while MP sold 30K.

I guess it makes sense because Toxic did very well and when its run ended My Prerogative came out. I guess Everytime was just a radio single like Do Somethin’

                    • She sold so much there, huge numbers yet today none of the album (nor the singles like prerogative) recognised as certified…
                      that’s annoying!

btw I just realised from the post above about the uk sales that toxic did over 300,000 copies since March 2019 (when it was confirmed 740,000) that’s huge the double plat must be close.

                              • So, I went on BMK and the person who shared those updated Nielsen numbers earlier this month had previously posted these figures in October 2017, but I guess nobody noticed. And yes, they're all real and match with the leaked numbers from 2018 and what was reported by Billboard years later.

Some updated album & digital single sales -- these were as of about Mid-October:

                                BITM 2:
                                January 2019: 30,000
                                May 2020: 30,000
                                July 2021: 30,000

                                Work Bitch:
                                July 2016: 967,000
                                October 2017: 1,006,000 (+39,000)

All of these vinyl and cassette releases have done wonders for her catalog sales. Glory sold 8K from Oct 2017 - May 2020, but then did another 15K in the past 14 months (May 2020-July 2021)

Femme Fatale sold 5.5K from October 2017 - May 2020, but then did 7K in the past 14 months. Even Britney Jean only sold 5K from 2017-2020, but then did 4K in the past 14 months.

BOMT sold 3.7M from October 2017 - May 2018, but then did 56K since then.

                                Thanks to Mark from BMK.

                                  • As of May 2018....
In the Zone - 3,921,990 digital tracks sold
Britney Jean - 1.431,310 digital tracks sold
Glory - 556,460 digital tracks sold

That means the Glory album tracks did 115-120K (not counting Matches, Mood Ring or Swimming in the Stars). Britney Jean album tracks did 175-180K. And ITZ sold over 1.5 million tracks excluding Toxic.

                                    Latest figures:
                                    "Everytime" - 566,943 (updated 6/21/13)
"Me Against the Music" - 281,000 (updated 6/5/12)
                                    "Outrageous" - 117,000 (updated 10/15/10)

I estimate these add up to 1.1 million, which means the album tracks sold around 400K.

                                        • So basically almost all of her singles could be certified Gold at least

                                          • Even “Perfume” is close too Gold. Her label is a mess.

Hopefully the day will come and Britney is gonna be free. Her label should celebrate this day with new certifications.

no doubt... i would say she has 70M songs units and at least 45M album units

in fact in 3-4 years she will probably surpass 100M songs units there
